The real story and pics from #CommAR
The Arkansas Commerce Expo was held today and I took the opportunity to interact with some old friends (no pun intended @pstrack) and connect with some new ones.
In addition to business networking there was a wonderful panel discussion on Social Media. Great stuff from wonderful folks and the Q&A portion was surprisingly engaging. The real story of an event like #commAR is the wellspring of informal conversations that always arises when smart folks end up in the same room. Immediately after the SoMe panel you could find yourself learning and engaging with some of the best minds and kindest people in the region. Why are events like #commAR and #LRTweetup so special? Because beyond the business opportunites it's a rare chance to have a meeting of the minds. Never forget the real power of social media is the people behind it. I love this community.
